artist statement
Olivia is a land and seascape artist with an interest in transforming vast spaces on small canvases. Inspired by lands uninterrupted by man, she aims to capture the beauty in the untouched through whimsical brushstrokes and soft colors. With deliberate application and attention to detail, Olivia uses art as a way to better understand herself and the world around her. Art should be a window into the artist’s spirit. Olivia invites viewers into her constructed world of miniatures – perfect for a seaside cottage or mountain hideaway.
